Buyer or seller?
It’s an important question to ask yourself. Am I a buyer or a seller or something in between? The truth is if you want to run a successful online business you need to be more of a seller than a buyer. Why? Simple you want to see money coming in rather than money going out.
I am sure you’ve had this problem, no matter what sector you are in. You see an amazing tool that says it can increase conversions on your website, so you buy it, then there’s another and another. Of course within the buying process there might be an upsell, downsell or even cross sell, and because it enhances the product you buy it.
If this is you, then you’re going to find that you are spending more money than you are making. If you’re serious about building a business you have to be on the other side of the fence, that is the sellers side cialis 5 mg doctissimo.
The process of selling is simple. Offer a product on the front end at a low price, while the person still has their credit card in their hand (virtually) offer them an enhanced version (an upsell) if they refuse this, then offer them a cut down version of the upsell (a downsell). Chances are they may buy one or the other. Even if they don’t someone else will.
Look at the numbers
100 sales, 2 people buy the upsell, 3 by the down sell – that’s 5 sales that happened because you followed a process.
But I don’t like
Yeah I don’t like the upsell, downsell etc when I purchase a product but every business uses it. The most famous being Mc Donalds. Those little words of would you like fries with that? or Do you want to super size that, are responsible for millions in extra sales daily.
When I book low ocost flights, I get asked if I want a car rental, a bus ticket, extra leg room, do I want a seat belt (only joking not that bad). And yes it annoys me but it is part of the process and yes it makes them money.
So every business is doing this and they are doing it for one reason – quite simply it works.
Now it’s your turn to decide if you are a buyer or a seller and to get your processes in place. You can find out more by signing up for my newsletter where I will share more secrets with you.
